What is Stanozolol

Stanozolol is a synthetic man-made anabolic steroid and it is traded under name of Winstrol. It was first developed in 1962 by Winthrop Laboratories, and is approved by FDA to be administered in human.
 
The substance derived from the natural human hormone dihydrotestosterone that is responsible for sexual male characteristics. Stanozolol is available in form of oral tablets and as an injection; the steroid can be used to treat several health issues both for humans as well as for animals. In particular, it has been established that this drug is pretty effective in treating anemia and hereditary angioedema, but it is used for other purposes as well.

The purpose of the drug is to increase cell synthesis of protein, thus, and a continue use the steroid enhances muscle growth. This is the reason why this steroid is used for purposes other than treating degenerative conditions such as anemia.  Stanozolol is popular among bodybuilders due to its muscle-building properties. Stanozolol is a 17-methyl-2 compound and unfortunately, it makes it toxic to the liver; so one should be careful using this drug.

How to use Stanozolol

Stanozolol has two routs of administration: oral and intramuscular. Both Stanozol tablets and injections aim to boost the amount of the testosterone levels in the human body. Bodybuilders are using this drug in their cutting phase; they look to eliminate their body's water weight and the fat content in the body in order to achieve as much pure muscle as possible.

Besides this, the substance can help the body produce more red blood cells, increase the density of the bones as well as stimulate the appetite for weakened people.

Stanozolol is usually stacked with other testosterone-based steroids such as Testosterone, Dianabol, Clenbuterol, Trenbolone for better results in increasing muscle strength without exceeding body weight and fats.

The dosage is different for each individual depending on personal goals and health condition, still, the recommended dose is usually anywhere between 25 to 50 mg a day in form of tablets, and about 30 to 75 mg a day injectable form for males for a good ratio of benefits/side effects. For females the recommended dosage is 2.5 to 10 mg per day in oral form, and no more than 5 mg per day injectable. The usage lenght of the substance to get noticeable results is somewhere from 6 to 8 weeks.

Side effects of Stanozolol

Every Stanozolol user is exposed to the risk of severe liver damage, and it shouldn’t be administered in people with liver issues. Here is the list of the early signs of liver problems: nausea, unusual fatigue, dark colored urine, and abdominal pains.

The list of the side effects users of Stanozolol are experiencing is listed below:

• Male users: breast enlargement and frequent erections.
• Female users: hair loss, unusual hair growth, irregular menstruations, deepening of the voice and clitoral enlargement.

There are also other side effects regardless of the gender: swelling of the legs especially at the ankles and/or the arms, difficulties to sleep, unexplained headache, acne, sexual desires can increase or decreased.
